The 'Homologación' Explained: Your Key to Spanish Universities

Published by TawjiHelp Team

For many Moroccan students, Spain is a dream destination. But before you can pack your bags for Madrid or Barcelona, you must conquer the administrative hurdle known as Homologación.

What is Homologación?

Simply put, it is the official recognition of your Moroccan Baccalaureate degree by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Without this, your high school diploma is not valid in Spain, and you cannot enroll in a degree program.

The UNEDasiss Process

For international students, this process is managed through UNEDasiss. It serves as a bridge between your Moroccan grades and the Spanish university system.

"Starting the process early is key. The paperwork can take months, and you don't want to miss university deadlines because of a missing stamp."

Key Steps to Remember

  • Translation: All your documents must be translated by a sworn translator.
  • The PCE Exams: Depending on the region (like Madrid vs. Andalusia), you may need to take "Pruebas de Competencias Específicas" to boost your grade score (Nota de Corte).
  • Grade Conversion: Your Moroccan grade out of 20 will be converted to a Spanish grade out of 10.

At TawjiHelp, we handle the entire UNEDasiss file for you, ensuring every document is perfect so you can focus on preparing for your move.
